Our Program
ELEMENTARY (Grades K4-6th)
At the elementary level, we offer three Kindergarten options: a four
day/week half-day program for K4 and a half or full day program for K5.
We place a strong emphasis on reading skills and building the right
learning habits to ensure a strong academic foundation. We use a variety
of sound publishers including A Beka Book, BJU Press, and Saxon
Publishers.
Students also have access to vocal and bell choirs, band, private piano
instruction, and speech training. They have the opportunity to compete
annually at the academic and fine arts festival sponsored by the South
Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS).
Our loving, nurturing staff provide a balanced atmosphere of structure
and fun while preparing these students for their high school years.
SECONDARY (Grades 7-12)
At the high school level, our primary goal is to adequately prepare each
student to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He may have for them. We
offer a challenging, college-preparatory program that meets and exceed
state requirements.
We offer a traditional classroom setting along with superior DVD
instruction from Bob Jones University Press and A Beka Book in high
school sciences and history. Students complete up to three years of
foreign language and learn basic computer applications.
We place a strong emphasis on the fine arts of music and speech and PVCA
students are consistently recognized at the state and national levels
for their excellence in these areas. They receive superior training in
chorus, bell choir, and speech.
